We have been offering training on the Mac OS X solutions since it was released. We developed and delivered a Mac OS X transitions course for the entire Mac based staff of Hallmark Cards in 2003. In 2005, our president Rob Daniels, became a Apple Certified Trainer and started teaching the official Mac OS X 10.4 Support and Server Essentials courses.
Apple Certified Trainer for:
Mountain Lion 101 -Support Essentials Mac OS X v 10.8
OS X Mountain Lion Support Essentials is a three-day, hands-on course that provides an in-depth exploration of troubleshooting on OS X Mountain Lion. This course is designed to give you a tour of the breadth of functionality of OS X Mountain Lion and the best methods for effectively supporting users of OS X Moutain Lion systems. The course is a combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that provide practical real-world experience.
Prerequisite: Knowledge of OS X and basic computer navigation
Mountain Lion 201 - Server Essentials Mac OS X v 10.8
OS X Server Essentials is a three-day course designed to give technical coordinators and entry-level system administrators the skills, tools, and knowledge to implement and maintain a network that uses OS X Server on Mountain Lion. Students learn how to install and configure OS X Server to provide network-based services, such as file sharing, web and wikis. Tools for efficiently managing and deploying OS X are also covered. The course is a combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that provide practical real-world experiences.
Prerequisites: Understanding of OS X, Experience with OS X in a network environment, Basic OS X troubleshooting experience or completion of Mountain Lion 101
Mountain Lion 101+201 - Apple Certified Technical Coordinator 10.8 Bootcamp
The Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) 10.8 Boot Camp is a combined delivery of the Mountain Lion 101 and Mountain Lion 201 courses and associated certification exams. This hands-on course provides an in-depth exploration of functionality and troubleshooting in OS X and the best methods for effectively supporting users of OS X systems.
This course also gives technical coordinators and entry-level system administrators the skills, tools, and knowledge to implement and maintain a network that uses OS X Server. Students learn how to install and configure OS X Server to provide network-based services, such as file sharing, authentication, and printing. Tools for efficiently managing and deploying OS X and software updates are also covered.
Prerequisites: Basic OS X knowledge, Basic troubleshooting experience, Experience with OS X in a network environment

Apple Certified Macintosh Technician Courses
Apple Certified Macintosh Technician courses are offered through our training partner, Business Rules, Inc. in upstate New York. The courses are offered at Business Rules, Inc. Shawnee located at the Tech Wyze, Inc. office at 22121 W 83rd Street, Shawnee, KS 66227. Registrations for these courses are handled by Business Rule, Inc.

Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification verifies the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repair of both desktop and portable Macintosh systems, such as iMac and MacBook Pro. ACMT certification exams emphasize identifying and resolving common OS X problems, and using Apple Service and Support products and practices to effectively repair Apple hardware.
Our 5-day class teaches you how to identify and resolve issues with Apple desktop and portable computers. You will learn Apple hardware specifications, troubleshooting techniques, component isolation steps, take-apart procedures, and general service guidelines and resources: everything you need to diagnose and repair Apple computers.
We combines lecture, demonstration, and hands-on lab exercises to prepare you for certification as Apple hardware service technicians.
Please note that this class is NOT an introduction to OS X. You're expected to have hands-on experience with OS X for a minimum of 1-3 months prior to attending this class. OS X Troubleshooting for Technicians
This 2-day, hands-on class complements the Apple Certified Macintosh Technician class, and provides an intensive, in-depth exploration of troubleshooting OS X and isolating a hardware issue. This class is specifically geared towards Apple Authorized Service Providers and Apple Self-Supporting organizations, and is designed to give you the best methods for effectively supporting users of OS X systems.
The class is a combination of lectures and hands-on, case-study exercises that provide practical real-world experience.
Please note: This class is NOT an introduction to OS X. Students are expected to have hands-on experience with OS X for a minimum of 1-3 months prior to attending this class.
